Constitutional Court Renders First Decisions on Constitutional Complaints (review by analyst Mykhailo Savchyn)

The lion’s share of decisions the Constitutional Court has rendered on constitutional complaints in 2019 address the issues of discrimination.

One of the decisions relates to access to justice, which is about the enforceability of judgments. The other decision is a problematic one as it allows for quite an extravagant treatment of equity interests.

Uzhhorod National University’s Professor and Sofiya Law Firm’s Scientific Advisor Mykhailo Savchyn has analysed legal issued raised by individuals and legal entities in their constitutional complaints and findings reached by the Constitutional Court in his article entitled ‘Legal Remedies’ authored for the Law & Business Newspaper.
