LF "Sofiya and the Committee of Agribusiness Entrepreneurs at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine are inviting to the roundtable entitled “Sectoral Rules of Professional Ethics as a way to improve functioning of markets"
On April 3, 2014 the Committee of Agribusiness Entrepreneurs at the CCI of Ukraine will hold a round table entitled "Sectoral Rules of Professional Ethics as a way to improve functioning of markets", where LF "Sofiya" will take part.

The meeting will address the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine efforts to combat unfair competition, sectoral cooperation of food producers in developing "Professional Ethics Rules" as a way to improve functioning of markets, the use of self-control mechanisms by producers to ensure transparency of their work and inform consumers about true quality and characteristics of products, strengthening public confidence in businesses that operate in food industry. It is planed to discuss mechanism of "Professional Ethics Rules" as a way of combating the appearance of counterfeit products in the market.
Also issues of social responsibility of manufacturers in protection of unqualified consumer will be brought to the attention of participants.
The meeting will involve representatives of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, industry associations of food producers, IFC, domestic manufacturers of food, and law firms.
